Guest post: Stranger things
It’s a strange thing to put one’s thoughts into words. It’s stranger still to cast them out into the ether to see where they land. The most surprising thing is to see how they are received, by how many, and how far away.

At its best, being grown up is having a second childhood. You can have all the fun with a side of wisdom, and, hopefully, you can enjoy some seriously cool toys. But, it takes time to get there, for people and felines alike.
The Tabby’s Place Volunteer Picnic is an annual celebration of volunteers who volunteer at Tabby’s Place (like how I made that sound both redundant and not at the same time? Neat trick, huh?). It’s a wonderful event for us all to get together to be feted and feasted by those whom we help (staff) in […]
Some Tabby’s Place residents scream for attention. Notably, one feisty little Lemon zinger in Suite C and a gregariously great Grecca in the Lobby shout to be heard and have us tune in to what they want. They sing out and clamor for attention — all of the attention, all of the time. These two […]

Editor’s note: Oh, kittens, are you in for a scrumptious surprise today. None less than Rocket‘s eminent adopter, Kelley, has joined the Tabby’s Place family of volunteers. Today, she’s set her sights and her soaring literary gifts on one Bosco Rosenberg. From this day forward, I aspire to live in Bosco time. I think you […]
Explosive events in the 20th century gave us the pop-culture notion of the nuclear option. That is to say that sometimes our old ways, our old ideas, our old just about everything needs to be blown to bits to make way for something new and, hopefully, better.
